- Turmeric root powder: gives the bar its golden colour.

- Castor oil: a thick plant oil that adds slip and softness.
- Sandalwood, orange and lemon essential oils: give the warm citrus scent.
- Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate, Calcium Gluconate: the preservative system.
- Citral, Farnesol, Limonene, Linalool: natural parts of the essential oils, listed as fragrance allergens.

- Wet your hair thoroughly.
- Rub the bar between your hands, or glide it over wet hair, to make a lather.
- Massage into the scalp and hair.
- Rinse well. Repeat if you like.
- Store the bar in its bag so it can dry.
- Rinse your shower tray or soap dish after use if they are white or pale.
- Keep the bar out of standing water.
Will it mark my bathroom?
It can leave a yellow mark on pale surfaces; rinse with water.
Does it contain SLS?
No. It contains no SLS or SLES.
How long does a shampoo bar last?
About 70 to 100 washes. At 3 washes a week, that is about 5 to 8 months, or longer if you wash less often.
Is Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate a sulfate?
No. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa) is a mild cleanser, not a sulfate cleanser like SLS or SLES.

This shampoo bar lathers beautifully and leaves my hair feeling clean, soft and fresh. The sandalwood and citrus scent is lovely, and the included shampoo bag is a handy touch. I also love that it’s silicone-free and sulphate-free. Highly recommend!
